Kathy Kestler, OTR/L, CGCP, CCM, Senior Care Advocate, Medicaid Specialist,founded Medicaid and More in 2019 to provide Senior Care Advocacy and personalized assistance for Medicaid applications. With a Bachelor’s degree in science from the University of Texas Health Science Center of San Antonio, Kathy has over 30 years of experience as a licensed Occupational Therapist specializing in Geriatrics.

Her mission is to help seniors navigate through the healthcare system, acquire financial benefits for proper medical care, and enable them to live their best lives. Kathy’s expertise includes advocating for seniors’ healthcare needs, assessing daily living skills, coordinating care transitions, filing Medicaid applications, performing home safety assessments, evaluating cognition levels, and offering community resource referrals.

As a Certified Geriatric Care Professional and Nationally Board-Certified Case Manager, Kathy stays updated on Medicaid rule changes and maintains regular contact with Elder Law community leaders. She has diverse experience in hospitals, skilled nursing and assisted living facilities, home health services, and outpatient clinics.

Beyond her professional role, Kathy is the cornerstone of our company. In addition to her tireless efforts in Senior Care Advocacy and Medicaid assistance, she selflessly volunteers with organizations such as Alzheimer’s Association, Parkinson’s Association and Parkland Friends of Library. Her unwavering commitment to service and advocacy is at the heart of our organization, shaping our values and fostering a culture of compassion care.
